Art Director, Illustrator, & Muralist

Served as Art Director, Illustrator, and Muralist for Valent BioSciences, overseeing the creative development and production of a range of visual communications. Responsibilities included developing comic books from plot structure through final print layouts, recruiting and managing creative teams, and contributing to layouts, lettering, and editing. Led animation video projects through storyboarding, animatics, model sheets, 3D model development, and management of static 2D short-form videos. Additionally, designed stickers, posters, and event space designs and signage, while creating large-scale murals that supported the organization’s visual identity.

tinsel Dallas: a Different Way to Holiday

Co-Producer & Artist Manager

With less than a month from concept to launch, our team designed, built and executed a brand new, pop-up, drive-through, holiday arts experience that married massive murals, technology, large scale sculptural installations, and live entertainment and presented it in a massively public, but completely safe and “Pandemic Friendly” way. Tasked with the goal of “spreading joy” we set out to create an immersive holiday environment that offered a “different way to holiday.™”

We reached out to our network of artists, performers, sculptors, producers, technicians, developers, projectionists, and experience makers and asked them to be a part of something amazing. This all-original artistic urban holiday experience highlighted the creativity and culture of the West Dallas, Tin District, and Fabrication Yard communities. Our network was able to bring to life a holiday celebration in an artistic, authentic, and engaging way, this immersive experience goes beyond the light show and brought together original art, technology, and music that created a tradition that the community and the metroplex can look forward to for years to come.

At Journeyman Ink, we believe in the power of emotional literacy and the benefits of joyful self-expression. We provide content and curriculum so that leaders and teams can experience the power of storytelling and create lasting change in their community, school, workplace, and life.

We created our Five Pillars and Advisory Curriculum to support teachers and administrators in the pursuit of creating safe spaces for authentic connection in an educational setting. Our lesson plans and activities are designed for easy implementation for both youth and adults. We believe that SEL isn’t just a moment in a single lesson or just for students, but a cultural shift meant for an entire build
